Halloween 2012

We had a fun Halloween this year.  We took the kids trick-or-treating then to a fun night at churh and then a little more trick-or-treating.  This year we had a funky zebra, an evil clown and a pumpkin.

Educational Dress Up Day

Julia and Jack were able to dress up for Halloween this year at school.  Julia's grade had a book parade and they were to dress up like a character from their favorite book.  Julia dressed up as Pinkalicious.  She loves these books!

We Believe

We believe in Mississippi State University  We believe we graduated from the greatest university ever.  We love our Bulldogs!  The We Belive movement has taken over the Twitter Timelines today.  We are not over confident in our team, but we do believe we deserve the respect that every other 7-0 team in college football is receiving!  No matter the outcome of the MSU vs UofA game, I believe in MSU!  I am true Maroon and my children are too!  Hail State!

WMS Cheerleader Mascot

Julia was asked to be a cheerleader mascot for one of the middle school cheerleaders at Winfield. Abby was so sweet to ask Julia and Julia was so excited about being her mascot. Julia had a great time and was very entertaining!

Julia was very excited that two of her favorite big kids came to watch her cheer.  Thanks Haley and Trevor!  We love you guys.  They both mean so much to us and our kids and we are so happy our kids have great teenager role models to look up to!

Ready for Baby McCaleb

Our sweet friend Lisa is having a baby girl in November!  We all are so excited and cannot wait for her to get here.  Baseball season is going to be really fun with a baby girl with us all the time.  We hosted a baby shower for Lisa on Sunday at Karla's new house.  She got some really cute things and we had a great time fellowshiping and celebrating the upcoming arrival of the sweet girl.

WCHS Homecoming 2012

The homecoming dress up days were pretty boring this year.  The kids loved it still.  They love  participating in all school activities!  That makes my heart very happy.

Soccer

The girls have played soccer this fall.  We love soccer, but our teams have been pretty bad this season.  That is bad for me to say because Julia's coach is Trey.

Calendar Girl Escort

Jack was an escort for the Elementary School Calendar Girl Pageant. He did a really good job and was very serious when escorting the girls.

In addition to escorting the girls, the boys danced during the intermission.  They were really cute although the song was really long.

Jack's 4th Grade Field Trip

Jack's field trip this year was to Moundville Archeological Park for the Native American Festival.  Jack had a great time with his Daddy and friends exploring the park and learning about the Native Americans in Alabama.

Boys of Fall

When most people think of Boys of Fall, they think of cool nights under the lights of continuous tackles and long runs, but not at our house.  We think of bats, balls, gloves and layering up the summer baseball uniform for a few more outings.  Jack loves baseball.  He would play baseball no matter what they weather.  I think we are done for a while now, but we sure did have a great outing for our last tournament of 2012!  The Pirates finished a strong 2nd place in a tournament in Tuscaloosa.  The boys absolutely played their hearts out coming from a 7 point deficit in the semifinal game to playing in the championship game.  I am so proud of my little slugger and his great team!
