Alabama Symphony

Savannah's field trip for third grade was a day in Birmingham for a concert by the Alabama Symphony and lunch at Outback. She said it was fun, but she doesn't really care to go back to the Symphony.

Off to See the Wizard!

Jack's 1st grade class went to Birmingham to see the Wizard of Oz presented by the Birmingham Childrens' Theater. They had a wonderful time. Trey went on the field trip with Jack. After the play they went for lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and dessert at Whole Foods.

A Little More Baseball

The Bad News Bears

Savannah's little softball team is so funny to watch. They look like the bad news bears, but they are undefeated.

Sisters In Christ

On Tuesday, April 20, 2010, Meg and Madison accepted Christ as their personal Savior. We were so excited. On Wednesday, April 21, 2010, Savannah accepted Christ as her personal Savior. We have been praying for Savannah to make this decision since the day she was born. I am so proud of all three of these special girls.

FCHS Prom 2010: A Black Tie Affair

A few pictures from Fayette County High School's Prom. It was fun seeing all the kids dressed up and having fun, but I am so glad that it is over!

Park Day 2010

Park Day 2010 was a great success for our two ball players. We started the day with Jack playing against Sulligent. The Gold Winfield Team for 8 and under won 17-0. Jack got a home run and a double. He played great at first base as well! Go Jack! Savannah served as bat girl for Jack's team! She was looking too cute in her softball uniform!

At 6:00 Savannah played against Lynn. We were a little worried about this game because her team has not played a game yet, but we were very proud of her when they began the game with an easy out at first. They ended up winning the game 5-4 after having to go into extra innings with the International Tie Breaker Rule.

It was a great day at the park except for the fact that I got pictures of all Jack's team, but none of Savannah playing. I had to leave early to chaperone the Prom at Fayette.

Easter

Easter morning was a better than most Sunday mornings. The kids got up earlier and so did Trey so things went much easier trying to get ready for church. The Easter Bunny brought lots of goodies for the kids. They all were excited with their new Nintendo DS games. After church we went to mom and dad's house for a wonderful meal and Easter Egg Hunt. The kids hunted Easter Eggs with Meg, Davis, and Blaine once and then decided it was much more fun to play baseball than hunt eggs.
