Halloween

We had a very eventful Halloween this year after we convinced the kids that it was more fun to go to the MSU game instead of staying in Winfield and trick-or-treating. The fun began on Friday morning with a party at Julia's preschool. She had a great time playing games, getting her face painted, decorating a pumpkin and going on a hayride. Thank goodness Trey was able to go with her so I could get some pictures of her.
Friday after school we headed to Starkville for Pumpkin Palooza. The kids were able to trick-or-treat down town Starkville at all the businesses. While we were downtown, the pep rally for the MSU vs. Kentucky game was going on. The kids were able to see Bully and the MSU cheerleaders. Julia was infatuated with being so close to the cheerleaders. After a fun evening of trick-or-treating, we went for dinner and then headed over to the Hampton Inn for the evening.

Saturday was a great day. We went to campus early to set up the tailgate and then went for breakfast at Waffle House (yummy)! We had to go by the Lodge to get Jack some new fall/winter MSU clothes. Finally we got to campus for the day. We were able to go to the Hump to see the MSU Basketball team scrimage. And then finally it was time for Savannah to go to cheer clinic. This is a special thing for Savannah. She waits on this for the entire football season. She had a blast at the clinic that ended with her cheering at the MSU pep rally before the game and finally cheering at half time of the ball game. Saturday ended wonderfully with the day being wrapped up in Maroon and White with a win over the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Sunday we had a special day a church. Every 5th Sunday we have lunch after church and then a short service to follow. Savannah was able to take the Lord's Sumpper for the first time. It was a very special time. After a short nap, we got dressed up in our Halloween costumes and went trick-or-treating again.
