Practice for the Gator Bowl
Saturday we stopped by the Bulldogs practice for the Gator Bowl. It was great seeing the players celebrating gains with each other. They were working hard, but also having a great time. It was obvious to see the respect they have for each other as well as their coaches. I was able to get some good pictures ofsome of the kids favorite players. As we were leaving the kids found some footballs the kickers and punters had punted over the fence. They quickly picked up the balls and headed out of the field to return the footballs to the football players. Savannah is sure that Heath Hutchins winked at her when she returned his football to him.
(Jack's Favorite Player, Pernell McPhee)
(A few future NFL players, Chris White and KJ Wright)
(Everyone's favorite coach, Dan Mullen)
(Julia's favorite player, Jonathan Banks)

Singing Christmas Tree
Friday night we went to Meridian to see the Singing Christmas Tree at Grandma and Granddaddy's church. It was really great. The kids enjoyed it a lot as well. Julia loved watching the tree light up in different colors.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
Last night, Savannah and her dance team danced at the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony in Homewood, AL. It was a great opportunity for Savannah and her friends. The girls danced live on tv and had a large number of people in the audience watching them. Other than how cold it was last night, it was a wonderful evening. I was so proud of her and the others on her dance team.

Savannah's Ornament Exchange Party
Savannah's friends have an ornament exchange party each year. This year it was at Rhonda's house. The girls had a great time playing games, decorating cookies and playing Dirty Santa. Savannah got a very cute Santa ornament.
