Disney World Day 1

We flew in to Orlando early Saturday morning, got checked into our resort Port Orleans Riverside, ate lunch, and headed to the Animal Kingdom.  Julia was so ready to go to the Animal Kingdom so that she could ride a roller coaster.   We headed straight to Expedition Everest.  Julia loved it!  We rode a few other rides, including Dinosaur.  Julia hated that ride.  She "did not want to ride it ever again!"  Jack and Savannah loved it again.  After a few hours and little rain we headed back to the resort to unpack our bags and let Julia take a little nap.  Trey took the big kids up to the pool area and got a few tropical drinks while I worked and Julia napped.

After a little down time, we headed over to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon with the Bowen family.  It was a great dinner.  The kids had a great time riding stick horses around the restuarant, doing the Hokey Pokey and playing games with the waiter.  If you go here to eat, do not ask for straws or ketchup.  You will get more than what you need of both!

Julia's Kindergarten Play

Julia's had her Kindergarten play the last few days before spring break. She was a calendar girl, Miss March. She was so excited to be Miss March because her birthday is in March. Mom got her ready for me Thursday afternoon while I went and stood in line for seats. She had two parts in the play and did so good with both of them. I was so proud of her.  Trey's parents came for the play on Thursday night; and my mom and Mama Tommie came on Friday mornig to watch her.



Huntsville Tournament

Jack is playing travel baseball this year instead of park and rec and we are loving it so far.  We have played in two tournaments so far.  Jack is doing extremely well with his batting as well as in the field.  He is getting a chance to learn new positions.  So far he has played third base, first base, catcher and pitcher.  He still has lots of work to do with pitching but did well for his first time at the position. 

In our second tournament, we won all three games in pool play.  We were so proud of our boys.  We finished the tournament in 3rd place. 

The siblings even have fun at the tournaments.  We really like it when there is a playground for the little ones to play on during the games.

Baby Jude

We have a new nephew. He is precious! The girls were so excited about going to see him and getting to hold him. Everytime I got to hold him, Savannah would beg to get him away from me. I guess another trip to Amory is in our future so we can see him again.

Tball

It is finally the year where all three of the kids are playing baseball, softball or tball!  Julia is so excited about playing tball.  She had her first practice on March 7th!  They were so cute.  It is so different than the super competitive world of baseball and softball. 

2012 FCHS Coronation

Saturday night the girls and I went out for a little girl time.  We went for dinner at Mexican and then on to coronation at FCHS.  We were so excited to see Haley and Anna Greene and Madi Freeman.  These girls are precious and we love them so much.  They looked absolutely beautiful.
